The material is written in the third person and describes research participants only. Where a study reports a pattern in a sample, that is a statement about that sample, not about the person reading it, and is not written as one.
This applies equally to advertising. Advertisements for this publication describe what the publication covers. They do not assert or imply knowledge of any personal situation, because no such knowledge exists.
No claim about outcomes, and no guarantee
Longhand Press makes no representation, express or implied, that reading any material will produce any result, change, or improvement. Research findings reported here describe average associations observed across groups of participants; they do not establish what follows for any individual, and effect sizes in this literature are generally modest.
No warranty is given as to the completeness, currency, or accuracy of any material. Research is revised, contested, and occasionally retracted. Corrections are made as described on the about page.
No testimonials
Longhand Press does not collect, solicit, incentivise, or publish testimonials, reviews, ratings, case studies, success stories, before-and-after accounts, or reader outcome narratives, and does not offer anything of value in exchange for a review. No such material appears anywhere on this site or in its advertising. Anything of that kind encountered elsewhere did not originate from Longhand Press and is not endorsed by it.

Named researchers, institutions, journals, and publications are cited for attribution. Citation is not endorsement of any researcher, institution, or wider body of work, and implies no affiliation with, or approval by, any of them. Longhand Press is not responsible for the content of any external site.
